ugh..

Im having issues lately and what my teacher told us today "staying with what you fell in love with." really hit home for me.
Well I have been getting assignments from my photo classes and its difficult, im used to going out and taking pictures whenever I felt motivated, but now im forced to go out whether i wanted to take pictures or not..Im not getting the pictures that I want, not reaching my potential with my photography..
I need to concentrate on my photography rather than wanting to take naps, but what can I say its college haha. I need to do what my parents told me when I was younger "Go and practice, the more you practice the better you'll get!"
And the verdict is......(give me a drum roll please ha!)............................................................................Go out and take pictures and more pictures. Hahaha.
Any more advice from anyone?

Photo Project

So for one of my photo classes I have to take pictures of things using the out of focus areas to provide secondary information....hm..any suggestions anyone?
One of my first pictures I did in my photo classes using photoshop! Just thought I'd share, I will post more soon! :)

hm..

I think i like this blog thing...I've never done one before..Im just doing this for class but I think i might keep up with it!

Gestalt Laws

So the other day in my composition class I learned about the gestalt laws. Yeah I learned about them in my psychology class in high school, but I had no idea that the laws apply to photography, I thought it was pretty cool!
There are four laws they are: Proximity, Similarity, Continuity and Closure. These different laws explain how things are grouped your brain basically groups them together, and so you apply them to photography.
Pretty sweet huh?
